In addition, the article points out that lexical cohesion can be attained through linking several lexical terms, which tend to co-occur. The author assesses the role of repetition, especially in relation to the achievement of lexical cohesion in texts that are based on science. From the authors perspective on repetition, the use of a word endlessly cannot necessarily be termed as misusing the word.
